Roles and states beyond forms

SmartLearn covers records, aid applications, activities and grades. Students, teachers and administrators may see the same record while being allowed different actions. API design needs both role and record state.

Frontend and backend responsibilities

Vue 3, TypeScript and Element Plus provide the interface, with ECharts for summaries. Java 17, Spring Boot and MyBatis-Plus handle the backend; Spring Security and JWT support authentication. Hiding buttons helps the interface, but server-side permission and data-scope checks are still needed.

Uploads, filtering, review transitions and deployment settings are useful topics. The focus is how a record moves through a complete workflow.
